ANCOP Walk Canada 2017 celebrates together with the rest of the nation Canada’s 150 anniversary.
For this year’s ANCOP Walk Shirt, ANCOP leaders from the various areas decided to have a different shirt color from the past 4 years of using green.
This also allowed for the inclusion of the #Canada150 logo, perfectly situated in the right sleeve of the thousands of shirts to be worn in the 18 locations. Significantly, this logo was created by a young artist with close ties with Couples for Christ and ANCOP Canada.
The artist / designer of the Canada 150 logo : Ariana Cuvin
Ariana Cuvin, an ANCOP advocate herself who led the ANCOP Walk 2 years ago in her rendition of the National Anthem at David Pecaut Square topped 300 other designers vying to have their design as part of Canada’s history. Ariana is the daughter of Tony and Edna Cuvin, the ANCOP West Sector heads in the GTA. Read her story and the description of her design in the Canada Government’s website.
