It will be the first Christmas for 400 survivors in their new homes.
This partnership with ANCOP Canada and SM Prime Holdings through SM Cares has given an early Christmas to more than a thousand survivors of Haiyan/Yolanda with their turnover of homes last April 16 in Tacloban. ANCOP President, Ricky Cuenca flew from Toronto to be one of the special guests in the thanksgiving dinner tendered for all of SM’s partners.

In this video, they recall the harrowing day and the succeeding weeks leading. As in every darkness, there is always light.

SM Prime Holdings also extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the hundreds of Canadian donors who through ANCOP Canada funded 100 houses, and to Couples for Christ who now is doing value formation programs in the community.

We pray that this partnership will continue to uplift the lives of more Filipinos in the years to come.
