ANCOP Canada Sponsored Children Win Sports Competition

“DISABILITY IS NOT INABILITY!”

This is the message of the children who participated in the Annual Kenya Primary Schools for the Physically Handicapped National Athletics Championships held last April 8-15, 2018 in Shimo la Tewa, Mombasa, Kenya sponsored by the Ministry of Education of Kenya.

Three ANCOP CANADA sponsored children from St. Anne Small Home in Eldoret garnered top awards in the competition.

KEVIN KIPTANUI won first place in the 200 Meters Wheelchair-Boys while PRAYMILLA CHEBET won three awards for 4×100 Relay, 4×400 relay and 400M Wheetchair. COLLINS OMONDI also won in the Atheletics for the Grafted Ortho Leg competition.

Rev. Fr. Peter Gichure who runs the St. Anne Small Home said that he is very thankful for ANCOP CANADA and its generous sponsors for bringing hope to these children.
