ANCOP Walk Victoria 2026
Victoria, BC | August 8th, 2026
The Couples for Christ (CFC) Victoria community came together in faith, fellowship, and service during the ANCOP Walk 2026 held on Saturday, August 8, at Fisherman’s Wharf Park. The event was a joyful and spirit-filled gathering that drew 209 registered participants led by the newly anointed CFC Victoria Cluster Head Bro. Ronnie and his wife, Sis. Frecel Dillera. The youngest participant was just 15 months old while the oldest participant was 85-year-old CFC Victoria pioneer Bro. Willy Santiago, a beautiful reminder that serving God’s mission knows no age limit.

We were honoured by the presence of the ANCOP National Operations Head Bro. Henjie San Juan and his wife Sis. Tess, the members of the GVN SGT, led by Bro. Jimmy and Sis. Lisa Arzadon as well as Dr. Felipe Edora, a family doctor and Grand Knight of Sacred Heart Parish. Before the walk began, Fr. Alfredo Monacelli, Parish Priest of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, led the community in prayer and entrusted the event to the Lord.
Participants followed a scenic and highly visible tourist route culminating in a group photo in front of the iconic British Columbia Parliament Building. Adding to the festive atmosphere, the walk coincided with preparations for the David Foster & Friends concert scheduled later that evening, drawing even more attention to ANCOP’s mission of hope and service.
Following the walk, the community gathered the following day for a Thanksgiving Mass at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, also celebrated by Fr. Alfie. The Mass was well attended by the CFC Victoria community. Members of CFC served as the choir, while CFC-Youth and KFC members proclaimed the readings, reflecting the active participation of different generations within the community.

Through God’s grace and the generosity of many supporters, $16,413 has been raised to date in support of ANCOP’s mission to answer the cry of the poor. We are grateful for the pledges and donations that continue to come in, with contributions being accepted until September 30, 2026.
As we celebrate the success of this event, we thank God for bringing together families, friends, and community members in a shared commitment to love, serve, and uplift those in need. May the fruits of this walk continue to bless the lives of the poor and inspire more people to become instruments of God’s compassion and hope.
To God be the glory!
