BUGUEY, CAGAYAN In the early morning of July 9, 2017 (Sunday), Bro. Ricky Cuenca, Member of the CFC International Council and President of CFC-ANCOP Canada, together with Cagayan Area Governance Team (AGT) Members visited the CFC-ANCOP Tambuli Village at Barangay Villa Leonora.
Thirty five (35) units of row or duplex houses were donated by CFC Mississauga West Chapter, Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Canada for the poorest of the poor families in the barangay.
The beneficiaries extended their gratitude to our generous donors from Canada, through Bro Ricky who, together with Bro Jun Romero from CFC Mississauga West and several others, recommended Buguey to be one of the beneficiaries of CFC-ANCOP’s work for the poor program. These 35 families have organized themselves as the Tambuli ANCOP Home Partners Association.
Together with Bro Ricky Cuenca and Bro Arthur Pagador were Eric and Annie Santos, Mac and Nannette Bautista, Mike and Mayeth Calimag, Pete Malaki and Ninoy Quendangan.
This ANCOP Tambuli Village, to be henceforth known as CFC Mississauga West Toronto ANCOP Tambuli Community, is within the 2 hectares of a LGU-owned property at Barangay Villa Leonora.
In agreement with the other stakeholders – LGU and Barangay Villa Leonora – the formal turnover will be in August. (more recent developments in the are will be posted as often as necessary).
Another ten (10) units of similar housing units donated by CFC United Arab Emirates will soon be constructed within the area.
May God be Praised!
