28 November 2017, Ottawa – Officers of Ancop International (Canada) called on Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia today, 28 November 2017, at the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa. During their call, Ambassador Garcia was briefed on the projects being undertaken by Ancop International, a Canadian charity organization that aims to uplift the lives of poor families in developing countries by providing shelter, child education, and humanitarian relief.
One of the organization’s most recent projects is the completion of the construction of 400 shelters donated to families in Tacloban affected by super typhoon Haiyan. The organization raises funds through sponsorships, donations and activities like the “Ancop Walk,” a global annual event that draws supporters of Ancop project.
The group was led by ANCOP President, Mr Ricky Cuenca. He was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Irma B. Cuenca, ANCOP Operations Director, Maria Pilar Dimaculangan and Couples For Christ National Director, Francis Yap.
