BULACAN – A groundbreaking ceremony was conducted last June 28, 2017 for the joint housing project of the Municipal Government of Baliuag and CFC ANCOP Winnipeg, Canada.
The new site has a land area of 11,562 sq.m and will be accommodating 135 houses for pre-qualified families and community. The community to be established is named Tova Vickar-CFC ANCOP Winnipeg, Canada- Starville IV.
Members of the Sangguniang Barangay of Baliuag and its department heads joined the officials of CFC ANCOP and the Area Governance Team (AGT) of Bulacan for the launch of the project. The program started with a Thanksgiving mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Ventura Galman. It was followed by the singing of the national anthem and a message of welcome from the head of the executive office of Baliuag, Mayor Ferdie V. Estrella.
Bro. Ricky Cuenca, president of ANCOP Canada International, gave his remarks to the people of Baliuag. Also, Bro. Rudy Gaspillo, president of CFC ANCOP Global International, gave some words to commemorate the activity.
The signing of Memorandum of Agreement between ANCOP and the Local government unit also took place. The signees are: Mr. Gerard Tolentino, Bro. Ricky Cuenca, Bro. Rudy Gaspillo, Ms. Josephine Lopez and Mr. Enrique Tagle. The activity then conducted the laying of time capsule to symbolize the future use of the project for the benefit of many.
The ceremony ended with a closing rites and lunch meeting of the Baliuag LGU and CFC ANCOP.
