The Badminton Tournament for ANCOP was organized to support and raise awareness for ANCOP’s initiatives. This event brought together CFC and family participants and supporters in a friendly and competitive environment, focusing on both sportsmanship and community engagement. By hosting the tournament, organizers aimed to foster camaraderie while contributing to ANCOP’s mission.
The event was held at the Synergy Sports Center on February 21, 2026, with around 31 players. We were able to generate $775 that will go to a shelter program of CFC Calgary.
The tournament’s champion is the mother-son tandem of Sis Maricel Ramirez and son Marc. Runner ups are the tandem of Bro Prince and Sis Saren Frias, and sis Maria and bro Pritam Ferrow. Praise God for this fun and meaningful event. Special thanks to bro Chris, Bro Gio, Bro Senen, Bro Ruver, Bro JR, Bro Jojo, who officiate the tournament. Special thanks to Bro Tommy Vinas of Great Autos (greatautos.ca) for sponsoring $200 to this event.
