CFC St. John’s Newfoundland & Labrador Launches ANCOP Walk

Newly formed CFC Newfoundland and Labrador Core Group Launches ANCOP Walk inside Sobey’s Community Center

On September 10, 2017, the 1st ANCOP Walk Canada Launching and CFC Assembly was held by the newly formed group of CFC in St. John’s Newfoundland and Labrador.

The original plan was to walk around Quidi Vidi Lake for the ANCOP walk but because of the heavy rains in the area, the group decided to hold the activity inside Sobey’s Community Center. The event kicked off with a Lord’s Day celebration headed by NL’s CFC household leaders, Arman and Cindy Bulaong. This was followed by a sumptuous dinner. The main program commenced with an opening prayer by Bro Arman Bulaong.

3In his opening remarks, Bro Chris Arreola talked about ANCOP — what it does and what it stands for. He further reiterated that ANCOP is every CFC member’s mission. Bro. Lester Alamares, one of the SFC members, conducted fun and educational team building activities, something the new group needed as they plan to conduct the first Christian Life Program in St. John’s next month. For the closing remarks, Bro Arman gave updates on the upcoming activities. And finally, the day ended with a powerful worship led by Lester Alamares.

(Couples for Christ Newfoundland & Labrador started only early this year)
