GVA Spring Run 2024

Greetings, Everyone!

We are thrilled to share some wonderful news with you all. The recently concluded Ancop Spring Run surpassed all expectations, and the Greater Vancouver Area couldn’t be more grateful for the support received from the community.

Here’s a brief overview of the event:

  • Successful Fundraising: Thanks to your generosity, the Greater Vancouver Area raised an impressive $71,242.04 for the CSP General funds, which is 89% of our $80,000 goal! This significant achievement will greatly contribute to our ongoing initiatives.
  • CSP Campaign: Through our dedicated efforts, the Greater Vancouver Area secured 55 CSPs out of the targeted 72, achieving 75% of our goal. Your commitment has been instrumental in this success.
  • Major Sponsors: A big thank you to our five major sponsors whose support made this event possible. Your contributions have made a meaningful impact on our cause.
  • Event Recap: If you missed the event or would like to relive the experience, you can watch the event recap video at the end of this blog post. It captures the spirit of unity and camaraderie that prevailed throughout the day.

With these funds, the Greater Vancouver Area can now proceed with funding the balance for the Vancouver Village multi-purpose hall and the Rebuild My Church project in Makeni, Sierra Leone. Additionally, we were blessed with beautiful summer-like weather, and despite the remote location, we were grateful for the enthusiastic participation from various Family ministries.

This year, we introduced a new format for the run, rotating the venue like the Olympics, and it was a resounding success. It not only showcased different areas but also allowed the host chapter to extend their warm hospitality to all participants.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for your unwavering support.
