On December 5, 2019, the Government of Manitoba acknowledged ANCOP CANADA for its international development programs and humanitarian efforts worldwide. On behalf of ANCOP CANADA, President Ricky Cuenca received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Manitoba Legislative Assembly for its work in helping the poor.
ANCOP Canada was invited to the Manitoba Legislative in Winnipeg to present to several Members of the Manitoba Legislative Assembly through an invitation by Cindy Lamoureux, MLA for Tyndall Park. MLA Cindy Lamoureux had a chance to visit ANCOP sites partnered with Rotary Homes Paranaque in August of 2018, which had a profound and lasting impact on her.
MLA Cindy Lamoureux continues to support the good work of ANCOP alongside her father MP Kevin Lamoureux, a Member of Parliament for Winnipeg North who invited Ricky Cuenca to present at Parliament Hill in Ottawa last October 18, 2018. On that day ANCOP CANADA also received a Certificate of Recognition on a national level by the Government of Canada.
These achievements could not have been possible without the many selfless and dedicated members of our community who believe in the importance of providing decent homes to the homeless and supporting children attain their education in the hopes of a brighter future.

Jon Gerard, MLA for River Heights, Andrew Smith – MLA for Lagimodiere, Hon. Sarah Guillemard – MLA for Fort Richmond and Minister of Conservation & Climate, James Teitsma – MLA for Radisson, Mintu Sandhu, MLA for The Maples, Dougald Lamont – MLA for St. Boniface, amongst others.
