ANCOP Canada President Ricky Cuenca recently signed an agreement with Nepal to open a Child Sponsorship Program (CSP) in the country.
The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement establishing an education sponsorship program between ANCOP Canada was signed with Bishop Paul Simick Apostolic Vicariate of Nepal and witnessed by Fr Richard, Eric Santiago Country Coordinator of Nepal and Gyan Rai Country Leader for Nepal.
Bro Ricky visited some of the houses in the community and first hand saw how they are really very poor. The parish school was about to close due to lack of funds from the Catholic church and ANCOP Canada came at the right time for help. Fr Richard the administrator of the school and the nuns, the school principal and teachers were on hand to welcome Bro Ricky.

After the signing of the agreement, Bro Ricky conducted the “Solemn Charge” weekend to participants.
Nepal becomes the 9th country to have an ongoing CSP agreement with ANCOP Canada joining India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda and the Philippines. ANCOP Canada previously had the program in Ghana.
