ANCOP Walk
Step Forward, Change Lives
The ANCOP Walk is ANCOP Canada’s premier annual event. ANCOP Canada is a registered Canadian non-profit charitable organization established in 2002. ANCOP is an acronym for ‘Answering the Cry of the Poor’. Our mission is to alleviate poverty in various poor communities in Asia and Africa, thorugh its core programs, namely: Education Sponsorship, Community Development, and Humanitarian Relief.

Lenten Journey
The ANCOP Lenten Journey allows us to reflect on the meaning of Lent, and commemorate the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus. It is a time for renewal, which we achieve through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. This journey guides us through daily prayer for the 40 days of Lent, with designated Bible passage each day for us to read and ponder. Our daily Lenten prayer is a time to recognize our faults, ask for forgiveness, and draw from God’s grace for mercy and compassion.

Natural disasters have left thousands of families displaced, homes destroyed, and communities in urgent need of food, clean water, shelter, and medical assistance. We are mobilizing emergency relief efforts to support most affected. But we cannot do this alone- we need your help. Let us come together as one community- united in love, faith, and action- to uplift those who are suffering.
