On December 28, 2016, 23 students, 4 teachers and 1 adult volunteer from the Toronto Catholic District School Board boarded a plane to Manila, Philippines. Team #PH2016 will be putting their faith into action by serving some of the neediest people in the world.
On Day 5.
It is the first day of the new year and the team will be visiting 2 communities, OLB in San Mateo and AKC.
The delegation also visited the 2013-14 build site of AKC – Ancop Kapatid Community.
This is the most kids they’ve encountered in a community so far. The energy was warm and electric. None of the participants wanted to leave. There were many tears shed on the bus as the team drove back to our hotel.
