On December 28, 2016, 23 students, 4 teachers and 1 adult volunteer from the Toronto Catholic District School Board boarded a plane to Manila, Philippines. Team #PH2016 will be putting their faith into action by serving some of the neediest people in the world. The ANCOP Canada website would like to capture their daily activities in this series.
In contrast to the slums of Payatas, the team will be visiting the financial district of Makati to see the contrast that exists between the rich and the poor.
Then, the youth visited the 2010-11 buildsite of AVANAI to play with the kids and reconnect with the community.
