May 3, 2025 – Through the inspiring initiative of ANCOP Coordinators Sis Jess and Bro Albert Betonio, along with Sis Clar and Johnnes Morales, another successful Zumba for a Cause event was brought to life. What began as a simple idea shared within the chapter household was met with overwhelming enthusiasm and immediate approval.
The entire North B2 Chapter/Cluster rallied behind the cause, showing tremendous support. Many members purchased tickets, with some even buying despite being unable to attend, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to the mission.
Special thanks go to North A2 Chapter Head Bro Mark and Sis Ann Colon for allowing the promotion of the Zumba event during their LiveLoud GA last April. In fact, many of the Zumba participants came from the North A2 community, highlighting the unity and generosity across chapters.
The support of the entire Couples for Christ (CFC) community was deeply felt. Elders from both the North and South also lent their encouragement and prayers, affirming that this meaningful endeavor was indeed guided and blessed.
We were fortunate to have passionate volunteers bring energy to the event: Tina Macapili and her team from Zumba School, Jason Zamora—a former Manoeuvres dancer and instructor at FitHim Studio—and Zumba instructor Oliver Jube. Their enthusiastic participation elevated the spirit and success of the event.
We are thrilled to share that the event raised $3,000, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to ANCOP (Answering the Cry of the Poor).
