Calgary’s Inspiring Gala Night and Household Initiatives

ANCOP Indescribable Gala Night: A Victorious Celebration

Oct 12, 2024, Calgary – We give thanks to God for the incredible success of the ANCOP Indescribable Gala Night— a truly victorious and unforgettable evening filled with joy and purpose. The night’s theme was inspired by 2 Corinthians 9:15 – “Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift.” It was held at Marlborough Community Park. It was a beautiful celebration of generosity, unity, and shared commitment among CFC leaders and members of the North A1 Chapter, headed by Bro Nelson and Sis Juliet Dejos, and Bro Art and Sis Carmel Adviento, couple coordinators of ANCOP NA1. The event was filled with beautiful live music provided by their very own Music Ministry. What a blessing of talent, shared for the glory of God and bringing good tidings to the poor. The event raised $6,729.00. The team’s goal was to sponsor a shelter through CDP, which costs $8,500.00. During Christmas time, the team conducted a few other small-scale fundraising activities, like a bottle drive, to fulfill the promise, which raised the needed funds to complete the goal. We honor everyone who in one way or another contributed to this event’s success. You will surely be rewarded. Whether you were there or missed out, these images will help you feel the excitement and inspiration that filled the air.

A Hearfelt Donation to ANCOP’s General Fund

Generosity and Love During the Give Love Campaign 2024, Calgary – A Couples for Christ household in Calgary made a remarkable contribution to ANCOP’s general fund during the Give Love Campaign 2024. Led by Bro Bojit and Sis Ydelle Bernardo, the household decided to forgo exchanging gifts during their Christmas party. Instead, they each chose to donate money, culminating in a generous total of $200, which was donated to ANCOP.
This act of charity epitomizes a simple yet profound response to the call of Jesus to love the poor. Rather than focusing on what they might receive, this household considered what they could give, embodying a spirit of selflessness and love.
Such heartwarming actions serve as an inspiration to us all. They remind us that true happiness is found not in material possessions or personal gain, but in the joy of giving and supporting those in need. This call to generosity is one that resonates deeply, encouraging everyone to consider how they can contribute to the well-being of others. Through acts of kindness and charity, we fulfill a deeper purpose and find the lasting happiness we all seek.

Drumheller – Empowering the Poor one bottle at a time, a bottle drive initiative is a simple and effective method of raising funds for ANCOP’s sponsorship programs. By collecting and recycling bottles, Drumheller’s veteran household generates a significant amount of money that can be used to sponsor a child for a year, providing them with access to education, healthcare, and better living conditions. The bottle drive initiative has been successfully implemented by, Roy de Guzman, Jocelyn Flores, Jasmine Supnet, Mary Pavich, Cen Felisilda and Tess Felisilda. This initiative started 4 years ago.
